Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to announce that TraceLink, Inc. has purchased SupplyScape Corporation. TraceLink's focus is to enhance pharmaceutical supply chain traceability and business collaboration to meet the global and broader track and trace needs of the full supply network. Leveraging the hard work of SupplyScape will be a key foundation towards realizing this goal.
It may surprise you, but you already know us. The core founders at TraceLink were also the founders and leaders of SupplyScape. Peter Spellman, Lucy Deus, Graham Clark, Brian Daleiden and I have a passion for providing support, leadership and ingenuity to you and the industry. All the employees of TraceLink are former SupplyScape employees, who have worked tirelessly on SupplyScape products and services with SupplyScape customers in order to develop the best solutions possible.
Supporting TraceLink is FirstMark Capital. FirstMark, a venture investment firm where I am also a venture partner, manages nearly $2 billion in capital commitments and works closely with entrepreneurial visionaries and their management teams to foster exceptional, sustainable and world-changing businesses. I have had the pleasure of working with Lawrence Lenihan, FirstMark Capital's CEO and Managing Director, for more than a decade. Larry and his partners at FirstMark have been investors in and supporters of several previous companies that I have led and I look forward to working with them at TraceLink.
FirstMark Capital invested in TraceLink so that the company can better support current SupplyScape customers and products as well as grow the product line to implement more traceability solutions across a variety of business processes. The work we did on Electronic Pedigrees and Product Authentication to establish a foundation for a safe and secure supply chain was just the start. As always, we will work closely with you to define the future of track and trace as it touches all elements of your business. We look forward to collaborating on products, standards, pilots and implementations.
On a personal note, I am thrilled to be reunited with my team, customers and partners in this industry. All of us share a passion for helping your business grow and optimizing your supply chain while delivering a measurable return on investment and ensuring patient safety.
